About Me

The 2018 Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay reveal features quite a few things that did not make the cut in the initial release of the game. Very early on the narrator showcases the apartment that V does stay in throughout the game but refers to it as "V’s current apartment" which teases at the idea that players will have the opportunity to upgrade to a better apartment later on the game. This isn’t the case. Although Cyberpunk 2077 shows multiple apartment icons as players complete the questlines of important characters, these locations belong to V’s friends. It is alluded that V is given access to Judy’s home upon her leaving Night City, however, upon going to Judy’s apartment, she’s still be there and V won't be able to use it like their default apartment in Wat

Bob from the Aldecaldos clan asks V to pick up a kidney implant from a hospital employee in Night City in order to save a Nomad kid’s life. The hospital employee betrays V, leading to a firefight. After the fight, V can choose to either kill the hospital employee or let them go, and either way, they get the implant. But if V lets the hospital employee live, V will find out it has a computer virus on it that needs to be removed before it’s implanted in the Aldecaldos kid. If V kills the hospital employee, they won’t find out about the virus, and the Nomad kid will

That didn't stop fans from crafting their own crossovers. Devotees of the fantasy tales have modded their favorite characters into the game and reimagined them as denizens of Night City. Now, you can not only play as Ciri , but also the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg . Toss a coin to your mod

Masahiro Sakurai - director of Super Smash Bros Ultimat e ( Switch ) - recently spoke on Cyberpunk 2077 ( PC , PS4 , PS5 , Xbox One , Xbox Series X ) and CD Projekt Red in his usual biweekly column in Famitsu magazine. While Super Smash Bros Ultimate players are currently enjoying Sephiroth , Sakurai is spending some time on Cyberpunk 2077 . In his column, Masahiro Sakurai shared several thoughts on Cyberpunk 2077 including his own gameplay experience, the bugs and performance issues, and his point of view on it all as a developer. DualShockers read the column, translated, and summarized everything below. Keep in mind that while this issue of Famitsu magazine released on January 14, Masahiro Sakurai wrote the column in late Decem

Errata is a rather funny weapon for its purpose, as it wasn't actually in the base game until the release of 2.0, making its tagline " It was worth the wait. " more of a fourth-wall-breaking ode to that f

Despite all that, Masahiro Sakurai is thoroughly enjoying his time with Cyberpunk 2077 . He actually already finished the main story, clearing it one week after launch. Now, he aims to further explore the g

First, Sakurai stated players are often unable to realize the incredibly huge amount of work hidden behind the word "optimization", without even taking debugging into account. And how there's a near endless number of tasks related to optimizing a game. He listed several. Such as handling each model's texture efficiently. Compressing the game's sound data correctly. Optimizing the order of the game's processes. Making the game omit a certain number of polygons and movements for models far away from the player. Making it so the game doesn't display elements outside of your field of vision. Classifying the game's effects between those who need to stay in the memory and those who don't.

Finally , simply drag the mod over to the correct folder, and wait until the files have finished transferring. As long as nothing conflicts and players have followed the instructions that came with each mod, Cyberpunk 2077 should be able to load mods automatically after being launched. If the game doesn't load the mods, load a fresh backup, and try ag

In the Cyberpunk 2077 story guide 2077 quest " Happy Together ," a couple of NCPD officers ask V to check on their friend, Barry, who happens to be V’s downstairs neighbor. Barry tells V that his best friend, Andrew, has died. In order to prevent Barry from committing suicide, V needs to investigate Andrew’s memorial, where they’ll find out Andrew is a tortoise. Then V needs to explain everything to Barry’s friends, including the fact that Andrew is a tortoise - otherwise, they won’t realize how much help Barry needs. If V waits too long to go to the memorial or doesn’t tell Barry’s friends the whole story, the quest will automatically fail after a certain amount of time, indicating Barry has d

However, I don't feel that I'm missing much. Disjunction has so much potential — it has a great soundtrack, interesting ideas for combat, and a serviceable story. These are all bogged down by frustrating and imbalanced combat mechanics, unimaginative stealth, and plain visuals. Disjunction impressed me when I originally played it some time ago, but it may have benefitted from being bite-size. Taking in the entire game, I couldn't help but want the experience to be over and done w
