About Me
This is a rather unprecedented move by Fox, who largely keeps a cryptically low-profile on social media. The critique is extra impactful, given MatPat and Game Theory's constant breakdowns of Undertale and Deltarune-- in other words, both content creators share an audience. As a result, MatPat responded with an apology, saying that they will start linking all games they play and that The Game Theorists will revise their tagging proc
I'm new to the Undertale fandom -- thanks to the PS4/Vita -- but I would give just about anything to see the game's developer Toby Fox inject his spirit and charm into some other titles. Why not Travis Strikes Aga
Undyne's determination is one of Undertale's greatest mysterys. She is the one monster to have it, and that's why she does not die when you cut her health down to zero. When her sprite does actually die, it melts, which we learn is something that happens to monsters with too much determination injected in Alphy's experime
While most content creators (especially indie creators) would be ecstatic about a channel with over a million subscribers debuting their game, Pirate Software seemed irate. As noted in the Tweet below, MatPat published his video with 75% of the tags leading to Undertale , Deltarune , or a Toby Fox created game, didn't include a link to the title, and entirely misspelled the studio's n
Undertale Achievements|Https://Undertalezone.Com/ launched in 2015 for PC and consoles at a later point, including the Switch as the latest port in 2018. Deltarune also released in 2018 as sort of a proof of concept for a related sequel. The sequel isn’t what we are counting as making this series explode though, because the fandom and merchandising are what really matters h
There’s only one thing better than playing games and that’s collecting every piece of merchandise tied to them. There was nothing like flipping through your favorite gaming magazine and seeing a profile of a limited edition collectible or discovering a piece of memorabilia from a beloved game in an overlooked corner of a shop and it’s a feeling we strive to replicate every month as we look through our own collector’s cabinet and dig out items new and old to show the world.
And let’s not forget Shovel Knight himself appearing in multiple other indie games including Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, Blaster Master Zero, Yooka-Laylee , and more. Minecraft may be bigger, but Shovel Knight himself is more like THE indie mascot for the past dec
Undyne's unusual name has a couple of hidden meanings. One is that it's based on water elementals or water nymphs known as "undine." With the name's similarity and Undyne being a fish woman, the connection was obviously on purpose. Undine are typically associated as being female and sort of like mermaids. A fish woman is close enough tho
Shovel Knight launched on PC, Wii U, and 3DS in 2014. It has since been ported to every console since. As of this December, it will have also released four different DLC expansions. There is also a new game, Shovel Knight Dig , which was announced earlier this y
Suda 51 went on to later clarify that the gameplay in Travis Strikes Again won't necessarily feature gameplay similar to that of Shovel Knight or Hotline Miami , but will instead be similar to that of the original No More Heroes games on the Wii with both traditional button and motion controls. However, he has also stated that the six games that Travis Touchdown will be traversing his way through while trapped inside the Death Drive Mk. 2 -- the game console that sucks in and traps Travis -- will each be games of varying genres. To me, this means that Suda51 could leave the door open to work alongside indie developers who might have experience in each of these different genres, even if Travis Strikes Again still inherently remains an action g
Maybe I've just been watching way too much of the Double Fine Adventure documentary lately , but I would love to see Tim Schafer somehow work with Suda51 on Travis Strikes Again . Personally, Schafer and Suda happen to be two of my favorite developers in the entire industry, and because of such, I'd love to see them work together purely for that reason. However, I also think there's a lot of similarities between the two that many wouldn't think of at fi
There is a part of the game where you can call befriended Undyne about the Royal Guard blocking the elevator. She tells you that she cannot help, as she once told the Royal Guard to disregard her orders if it was to help a human. She told them this after watching an anime about a human who could control minds in a war. She also mentioned the anime was really good. Sounds like it could be Code Gea
In fact, while exploring Undyne's home, you can discover some things that are obviously Alphys or things that exist because of her. For example, Undyne claims to not like soda despite having soda in her house. Alphys owns a cup of soda, so it might actually be for her whenever she visits. Undyne also tells you, "No nerds allowed" when you interact with her room door but then corrects herself that "some nerds are." That is definitely in consideration to Alp
