About Me

Fantastic Four is a 2015 superhero film centered on four young outsiders who gain startling abilities after teleporting to a treacherous universe. As their lives are transformed, the team must harness their new powers to protect Earth from a former friend who becomes their advers

Next was the animation portion of the panel, where Loeb debuted some of the very first footage of **Ultimate Spider-Man ** (written by Paul Dini and the Man of Action team – Joe Casey, Joe Kelly – with additional help from Brian Michael Bendis, Joe Quesada, Dan Buckley, and more). Some things of note about the foot

As a pinball game, Marvel Pinball is as solid as they come. The physics featured in this game are identical to pinball machines you would find at your local arcade. Plus, you get to enter and record your high scores, compare them up against the world, compare them against your friends, and even the vibration feedback makes you feel that much closer to the real thing. You also have all the standards that come with a pinball table, including bumpers, rails, stand-up targets, etc. I especially like the fact that the game has the courtesy to move the Xbox Live notifications to the middle of the screen instead of at the bottom, because, if you know anything about pinball, you know that covering any part of the bottom of the screen could result in the loss of a ball. You lose three balls, and you're out. Game o

As I already mentioned, Marvel Pinball comes with four different tables. However, this is mostly like getting four different maps. These four tables offer their own subtle twists to a conventional pinball table, but, in the end, they all play largely similar to each other. You have a button to launch the ball, buttons for the left and right flipper, and the ability to tilt the table. That's all. Although the game's physics are spot-on with capturing exactly how a pinball machine should play in real life, I feel that there was a missed opportunity here. Just because you have true to life physics, that doesn't mean you should be limited to simulating an actual pinball machine. There are some far-fetched scenarios on these tables already; for example: Wolverine and Sabretooth battle each other after hitting certain areas on the table. With that said, why not take it a step further, and offer something as fun and over-the-top as the characters that are featured. Marvel Pinball has four different machines, but once you have played one, you've played them all. This ultimately leads to a rather boring experience that will have you moving on very quic

For years, on both Game Rant and Screen Rant, we've suffered through the awkward video game-film relationship. The sad reality, as we so often repeat, is that movies based on video games and video game movie tie-ins all suck, with the rare exception here and th

If there’s anything less-than-glowing to say about the footage, it’s that the animation retains a bit of that stilted Americanized anime quality due to the overuse of camera pans, push-ins, zooms, and tilts, as opposed to pure animated movement. Indeed, it doesn’t yet feel as energized as the wonderful (but canceled) Spectacular Spider-Man – then again, some deemed that show to be too carto

At GDC this week, The Hollywood Reporter chatted with TQ Jefferson, VP Games Production for Marvel, briefly (and safely) touching on the topic of Sega published Marvel games as well as the problem of licensed movie ga

The first part of the panel dealt with the "Live Action-in-Development" television properties in Marvel’S Spider-Man 2 Villains|Https://Spiderman2Mix.Com/ lineup (Jeph Loeb stressed the words "in-development," as these shows are still in the planning stages). First up was the live-action ABC television adaptation of Brian Michael-Bendis’ acclaimed comic book, Alias (no relation to the hit J.J. Abrams show of the same name) which will be called A.K.A. "We just launched Marvel: Avengers Alliance on Facebook; which is just the tip of the iceberg. This is the first in a much larger effort to support the Avengers franchise across not just one but multiple video game touch points. The Avengers are bigger than just one game, and we’re planning to allow consumers to enjoy The Avengers regardless of their preference in gameplay style or platform. Look for more announcements in the weeks to co

Is that why this continued for three years, releasing five of these poorly conceived games for every platform? We know Sega's not working on a game for The Avengers and the one THQ was working on got canned . Is there going to be a full console release or is Marvel (and parent company, Disney) just focusing on social and free-to-play games going forw

"Separately, Marvel Studios confirmed today that Sony Pictures Entertainment will release SPIDER-MAN 4 on May 6, 2011. Additionally, Marvel Studios has revised the release dates for THOR and CAPTAIN AMERICA as part of its release strategy for an uninterrupted road to THE AVENGERS, now debuting May 4, 20
