About Me
As a pinball game, Marvel Pinball is as solid as they come. The physics featured in this game are identical to pinball machines you would find at your local arcade. Plus, you get to enter and record your high scores, compare them up against the world, compare them against your friends, and even the vibration feedback makes you feel that much closer to the real thing. You also have all the standards that come with a pinball table, including bumpers, rails, stand-up targets, etc. I especially like the fact that the game has the courtesy to move the Xbox Live notifications to the middle of the screen instead of at the bottom, because, if you know anything about pinball, you know that covering any part of the bottom of the screen could result in the loss of a ball. You lose three balls, and you're out. Game o
The first Marvel Zombies comic run has Galactus trying to take over, as he is wont to do; although with considerably different results than usual. If the game followed this as the main storyline, there's plenty of time travel and alternate dimensions that could explain why Spider-Man has to go to other dimensions.
Also on ABC Family will be Mockingbird , a story about Bobbi Morse – Hawkeye eventually married her in the comics – a freshmen in college (perhaps Stanford in California) who gets contacted by S.H.I.E.L.D. and becomes a secret agent. Basically, the thrust of the show is, "College student by day, secret agent by night," and according to Jeph Loeb, it’ll be like J.J. Abrams’ Felicity meets J.J. Abrams’ Alias . That's a lot of J.J. Abrams going on th
Is that why this continued for three years, releasing five of these poorly conceived games for every platform? We know Sega's not working on a game for The Avengers and the one THQ was working on got canned . Is there going to be a full console release or is Marvel (and parent company, Disney) just focusing on social and free-to-play games going forw
Frankly, of what little we saw, the show looks pretty excellent. The sense of humor and writing are top-notch, the cast and the acting are excellent, the characters and stories utilized looked good enough, and the visual quality of the show was a least two or three steps above Marvel’S Spider-Man 2 Guide|Https://Spiderman2Mix.Com/ Earth’s Mightiest Hero
Next was the animation portion of the panel, where Loeb debuted some of the very first footage of **Ultimate Spider-Man ** (written by Paul Dini and the Man of Action team – Joe Casey, Joe Kelly – with additional help from Brian Michael Bendis, Joe Quesada, Dan Buckley, and more). Some things of note about the foot
Spider-Girl is Spider-Man's daughter May, all grown up! She originated in a "What If" comic, and then went on to receive her own book which became the longest running female-superhero book ever published by Marvel. This all takes place in an alternate look at the future where Peter has retired and May has taken up his mantle.
"Paving the way for the production and release of its multi-character superhero film, THE AVENGERS, Marvel Entertainment, Inc. , announced today an adjusted release pipeline for its self-produced feature film properties that reflects the first time individual Super Hero characters and story arcs will be inter-woven and culminate in a multi-character motion pictu
For years, on both Game Rant and Screen Rant, we've suffered through the awkward video game-film relationship. The sad reality, as we so often repeat, is that movies based on video games and video game movie tie-ins all suck, with the rare exception here and th
Hellboy is a 2004 film directed by Guillermo del Toro, featuring Ron Perlman as the titular character. We previously reported in September 2011 that the license for the characters had reverted back to Marvel - hence, no more Sega - and that they were looking for publishing opportunities from other potential partners. With Jefferson hinting at incoming announcements, perhaps they found some
At GDC this week, The Hollywood Reporter chatted with TQ Jefferson, VP Games Production for Marvel, briefly (and safely) touching on the topic of Sega published Marvel games as well as the problem of licensed movie ga
As I already mentioned, Marvel Pinball comes with four different tables. However, this is mostly like getting four different maps. These four tables offer their own subtle twists to a conventional pinball table, but, in the end, they all play largely similar to each other. You have a button to launch the ball, buttons for the left and right flipper, and the ability to tilt the table. That's all. Although the game's physics are spot-on with capturing exactly how a pinball machine should play in real life, I feel that there was a missed opportunity here. Just because you have true to life physics, that doesn't mean you should be limited to simulating an actual pinball machine. There are some far-fetched scenarios on these tables already; for example: Wolverine and Sabretooth battle each other after hitting certain areas on the table. With that said, why not take it a step further, and offer something as fun and over-the-top as the characters that are featured. Marvel Pinball has four different machines, but once you have played one, you've played them all. This ultimately leads to a rather boring experience that will have you moving on very quic
