About Me
Like many other pieces of Cyberpunk media, Disjunction is about the actions of a corporation with the power of a nation and the people it affects. In this case, there are three main characters with a bone to pick; Frank, a disgraced cop turned P.I, Joe, a former boxer turned vengeful father, and Spider, a hacker. The trio starts their stories separately, but soon enough come together, linked by the actions of the previously mentioned corporat
The pace of Disjunction 's story is terribly slow, but it does players one favor. While other Cyberpunk games throw players into an extremely detailed world and tell them "figure it out," Disjunction doesn't. Instead, the game highlights the names of important people, places, and things in dialogue boxes. Figuring out what the characters are talking about is as simple as hovering your cursor over those subjects and reading the detailed description that pops up. I genuinely appreciated this thoughtful way for the game to get more information to me without me having to gu
That disconnect between what was being said and what was happening on screen made it impossibly difficult to feel empathetic towards any of the game's characters. While they're are well written and at some points interesting, I was disconnected from them for the most part. Instead, they became foils of their playsty
During the " I Walk the Line " main quest, V will be approached by a Netwatch agent who wants V to betray the Voodoo Boys in order to keep the net safer. If V agrees, during the following quest (" Transmission "), Netwatch will appear in the subnet the Voodoo Boys create for V, and all of the Voodoo Boys will die. V can still achieve their goals, either way, and the Voodoo Boys aren’t exactly good guys, so it’s up to players to decide who to supp
It’s clear that CDPR initially intended players to have more than one property. The resources are in the game, but instead of actually allowing players to buy apartments, penthouses, and even mansions, CDPR settled for giving players free access to the homes of V’s friends. This feature would be fine if it worked properly, but it doesn’t, and only V's initial apartment acts like a true home - even though it can barely be customized its
Many gangs that skulk around Night City are vicious, violent, and often so teched up that they're nearly impossible to kill. The Voodoo Boys are the opposite. They're hackers and netrunners who, in a world as tech-orientated as this, are beyond danger
In Cyberpunk 2077 's " The Pickup " mission , V's decision to side with either Maelstrom or Militech will determine which of the Militech agents survives. After meeting with agent Meredith Stout, if V uses the infected credit chip to pay for the bot or chooses to attack Maelstrom, Meredith will prevail over Gilchrist. If V clears the credit chip or pays for the Flathead with their own money and sides with Maelstrom, then Gilchrist will take over, and Meredith will
The story follows Jim Corbijn, a special agent with the ability to hack into the minds of his AI foes. When Jim is dispatched to District 7 to investigate a shooting, he becomes involved in a government conspiracy called Project MindJack, which further endangers his l
Another car feature that should have been included in Cyberpunk 2077 is car customization. Players can buy as many vehicles as they want in Cyberpunk 2077, with one of the achievements for the game being purchasing every vehicle available, but one thing players can’t do is customize their vehicles. However, as players roam around Night City, they will notice many customized vehicles that belong to specific characters or ga
This smart submachine gun has a distinctive appearance. It looks dangerous, because it is dangerous — one of the best smart weapons in the game, in fact. The best aspect of this weapon is its ability to increase the chance of a critical hit the longer the weapon fi
**Cyberpunk 2077 ** asks players to make many tough decisions, and some of them affect which characters can be saved. Death is frequently a part of life in Night City, and trying to save people can feel like fighting a losing battle, especially when V's best friend dies in Cyberpunk 2077 's first act . However, there are still some Cyberpunk 2077 characters whose lives can be saved by V's actions, even if the solution isn't always obvi
They love causing trouble to corporations and are usually willing to do most jobs if the person is willing to pay. They don't hold a vast amount of land and aren't typically interested in expanding into Night City which allows them to stay in the middle of the power ladder. That seems to suit them f
As the gaming world continues to debate the merits and misgivings of the long-awaited cyberpunk 2077 online Guide 2077 , it's time to consider where the game ranks in the pantheon of all-time cyberpunk video games. Stripped down its essence, Cyberpunk is the fusion of "low life and high-tech," the retro-futuristic result of which can be found among innumerable video game examp
