About Me

Microsoft shocked everyone back at E3 2018 when they revealed that they had acquired Playground Games, Undead Labs, Ninja Theory, The Initiative, and Compulsion Games , but they were still able to add two more studios to that lineup today: inXile Entertainment and Obsidian Entertainm

Microsoft just held their Inside Xbox: X018 Special, which was home to a wide variety of interesting announcements regarding upcoming lineup of games, DLC, and updates. That being said, six specific announcements stood out from the pack, so I wanted to highlight them here for those of you that may have missed this latest Inside Xbox Livestr

I'm not one for multiplayer especially when it comes to games with stories I want to get invested in. That said because Red Dead Redemption II is such a different experience, I was curious how the game was going to handle onl

If you want to watch the full livestream, you can check it out below. Crackdown 3, Kingdom Hearts III, Devil May Cry 5 , and Jump Force will all arrive on Xbox One next year. If you want play all of those titles on Microsoft's consoles you can pick up the Xbox One S or Xbox One X on Amazon right

Yes, you can miss missions. Now that may make sense if your caravan moves to a new area, or if a character, the quest giver, passes away. Those seem obvious, but there was one that didn't seem so obvious. In chapter three, I had two yellow missions as well as a white mission that said Abigail wanted to talk to me. Well when I did one of the yellows, Abigail’s disappeared, which was weird because it seemingly had nothing to do with what I just did. That's just the one I caught. Did I miss more before t

Fortnite can feel the complete opposite. Don’t get me wrong; the game is fantastic. I see why it has exploded into what it is today. It still never connected with me though. While you will find yourself in a lot more battles in Epic’s rendition of battle royale, I always felt that it was missing some suspense. No matter where you are at in Fortnite , you have cover. Well, unless you do not have any building materials, but that is not to often since you can gather materials from almost every object. Running from town to town usually is not an issue because if an enemy spots you and starts firing, just pop up a few walls and boom, cover! In fact, you can pull an entire fortress out of your pocket at a moment's notice, provided you have the equipment. If I see another player off in the distance, a distance close enough that I can do some damage, I won’t bother because the opponent can erect a tower at the snap of a fin

On that same note, instead of using money for guns and stuff, you should invest in the camp as soon as possible. It's a great way to improve the condition of your comrades as well as get valuable upgrades. I already mentioned the fast travel and horse hitch, but there are more. You can actually max it out pretty fast if you're good with managing your money. I was a little disappointed once I basically finished in the third chap

Comparing this to PUBG is almost like a night and day difference. You must always be on your toes. One bad decision could cost you and your squad the match. Whether it is how you ransack a set of buildings, or how you make your approach toward the circle, battlegrounds will always reward the squad that communicates and puts some careful thought into their playst

Both of those developer are notable within the RPG community - inXile Entertainment for The Bard's Tale IV and Obsidian for Fallout: New Vegas and the Pillars of Eternity series. Considering RPGs were a somewhat malnourished genre within Microsoft's previous first-party lineup, inXile Entertainment and Obsidian are really looking to shake things up with one new IP each for Micros

While the wildly-popular Battle Royale game is now available on the go , PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is still seeing its original PC version getting significant new updates and additions, with the latest PC update dropping some new customization options for players to enjoy with weapon sk

Over on the game's Steam Community page, PUBG Corps revealed the patch notes for the upcoming Update #12 for the game's PC version, which promises a hefty number of balance changes and more. The patch itself will be available later today after scheduled server maintenance at 7pm PT, while a new ranked season for the game will also be commencing to

Previously, grenade damage was greatly dependant on fall damage (from the grenade’s knockback effect) rather than explosion. We’ve removed the grenade’s knockback effect for player characters, and have adjusted it so that only explosion damage is applied when you’re struck by a gren

Finally, the Steam Community post from PUBG Tips Corps also detailed that the developer is working on is a region lock-esque system for improving network performance for players in-game. Specifically, the system would only connect players from that region to connect and play, and regions would be invisible to players residing in other regions (excluding players that team up from opposite regio
